Bub obtained his Real Estate License and began his real estate career in the summer of 2000. He has since progressed to a Real Estate Broker’s Licence and has served as the President of the Moose Jaw Real Estate board.  Before entering the real estate industry he served on a Rural Municipal Council, an Urban Municipal Council and several years as the Mayor of a small town.

Born and raised on a small farm just outside of Moose Jaw, Bub has spent his life in and around the Moose Jaw area. When first out of high school he spent a summer working with the Alberta Department of Highways. Returning to Saskatchewan he spent the next 11 years working for Sasktel before leaving to enter the farm and ranching business, where all the ranching operations were conducted from horseback.  He owned and operated a successful private business for 15 years.  He was chosen to do the taxidermy work for the Hanson Buck, the famous world record whitetail deer.  He is an avid sportsman and has held the position as editor of the Archery Column for two outdoor magazines, the Western Sportsman and Canadian Bowhunter.  He has received coveted awards and a lifetime membership in the Saskatchewan Bowhunters Association for his contribution to archery and the sport of bowhunting. 

He has also done extensive home renovations involving, but not limited to, complete demolition and rebuilding, including total replacement of electrical and plumbing, windows, doors, siding, drywall, flooring, etc.
